The most common appearance of ringworm is a lesion that starts as a flat, scaly spot which then develops a raised border that advances outward in a circle. The advancing border is red, raised, and scaly while the central area is more normal appearing, usually still with fine scaling. Some ringworm infections, especially those treated with a steroid like hydrocortisone, can have vesicles or pustules in the advancing border or in the center.

Skin supports its own ecosystems of microorganisms, including yeasts and bacteria, which can not be removed by the cleaning. According to estimates of the number of bacteria on the surface of a square inch (6.5 cm square) from human skin in 50 million but this figure varies on average 20 square feet (1.9 m2), human skin. Oily surfaces, such as the face, may contain more than 500 million bacteria per square inch (6.5 cm ²). Although many of them, all the bacteria on the skin surface will be the appropriate volume of the size of peas. In general, micro-organisms keep each other in check and are part of a healthy skin. When the balance is disturbed, there May proliferation and infection, such as when antibiotics kill microbes, so that in the proliferation of yeast. The skin is continuous with the interior of the epithelium lining the body orifices, each of which supports its own complement of microbes.

Cleaning the skin properly is very important, because unclean skin favors the development of pathogenic organisms. Dead cells that continually slough off of the epidermis mix with the secretions of sweat and sebaceous glands and the dust on the skin that forms a layer on the surface dirty. If not washed, the suspension of the sweat and sebaceous secretions mixed with dirt and dead skin decomposed by bacterial flora, the stench. Functions of the skin is disrupted when too dirty to be more easily damaged, the release of antibacterial compounds decreases, and dirty skin more vulnerable to developing infections.

Cosmetics on the skin should be used with caution because it can cause allergic reactions. Each season requires suitable clothing in order to facilitate the evaporation of sweat. Sunlight, water and air play an important role in maintaining healthy skin.

Oily skin is caused by over active sebaceous glands, which produce a substance called sebum, the skin of the skin in good physical health lubricant. When produced excessive sebum, it becomes heavy and thick texture. Oily skin, characterized by shininess, blemishes and buttons. [1] the types of oily skin are not always bad, since such skin is less prone to wrinkling, or signs of aging [1], because the oil is needed to help keep moisture locked in ‘epidermis (skin layer of ultra-peripheral).

Negative aspects of the type of oily skin, oily skin is very prone to clogged pores, black, and the accumulation of cells on the skin surface of dead skin. [1] oily skin can be dyed and the rough texture and tend to have large visible pores everywhere except around the eyes and neck.

The goal of treating oily skin is to remove excess surface sebum without complete removal of degreasing treatment of the skin may raise lipids.Severe over secretion of sebum, which is contrary to the objective the method cleansing.A clean oily skin is to clean the face with a cleanser made specifically for natural oily skin. If cleaners pH 4.5 – 5.5, because the skin around the pH value of 5.4. Gel cleaning the most effective on oily skin. (See: surfactant) have oily skin, very few products contain natural oils. They should not contain waxes or agents of lipid synthesis that could aggravate the oily condition of the skin. Tonic lotion should also be natural and have a pH of 4,5-5,5 and specially formulated to help balance and hydrate the skin greasy. Some cleaning products that are lower than the concentration of hydroxy acids that remove dead cells from the upper corneum. Those should be used regularly to work adequately. A lightweight moisturizer May be included in a hydroxy acid product to prevent drying due cleanser.People with oily skin should use a moisturizer with humectants and clay containing bentonite clay mask twice a week.

SkinSkin

The skin outside the body. In humans, is the largest organ of the Integumentary system consists of several layers of mesodermal cells, and guards in the muscles, bones, ligaments and internal organs. Skin diseases have a different nature in amphibians, reptiles, birds. Human skin does not differ from that of most other mammals, except that is not protected by the pace and seem to almost all the hair of human skin is covered with hair follicles. Adjective cutaneous literally means “leather” (from Latin cutis, skin).

Because of the interface with the environment, skin plays an important role in protecting (the body) against pathogens and excessive loss of water. [4] The other functions are insulation, temperature regulation, sensation, synthesis of vitamin D, and the protection of the B vitamin folate. Heavily damaged skin will try to heal by scar formation of the network. This is often discolored and depigmented.

In humans, skin pigmentation varies among the population, and may be different types of dry skin to oily. Such as the skin is a source of richness and diversity of customs of the bacteria to a number of approximately 1000 species of 19 phyla.

Feature

Skin diseases, the following functions:

1. Protection: an anatomical barrier from pathogens and damage between the internal and external environment in the body’s defense, Langerhans cells in the skin are part of the adaptive immune system.
2. Sensation: contains many nerve endings that react to heat and cold, touch, pressure, vibration, and tissue damage, see somatosensory and haptics.
3. Thermal regulations, the skin contains a blood supply far greater than the conditions which allow control of the energy loss by radiation, convection and conduction. Dilation of blood vessels and increased perfusion heat loss while the small vessels of skin blood flow is reduced and the conservation of heat. Erector pili muscles are significant in animals.
4. Control of evaporation: the skin to provide a relatively dry and semi-impermeable barrier to fluid loss. The loss of this function is to contribute to the great loss of fluid from burns.
5. Aesthetics and communication: others, our skin and can assess our mood, physical state and attractiveness.
6. Storage and synthesis: acts as a storage center for lipids and water and equipment from the synthesis of vitamin D by UV on certain parts of the skin.
7. Droppings: sweat contains urea, but the concentration is 1/130th that of urine, sweat expenditures is at most a secondary function of temperature.
8. Absorption: Oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide diffuses into the epidermis in small amounts, some of them use animals for their skins only organ of respiration (contrary to common belief, however, people do not absorb oxygen through the skin). In addition, medications can be administered through the skin, ointments or by means of adhesive patch, such as the nicotine patch or iontophoresis. Leather main sites of transport in many other organisms.
9. Waterproof skin that acts as a barrier resistant to water so essential nutrients are not washed from the body.
