Even though you may think you deserve to go out and have a few drinks, there are some things that you should certainly keep in mind.

Like any other day, tomorrow is going to be a day for exercise, and since you are exercising on a regular basis, a few drinks of alcohol won’t really hurt anything, right? Before you decide to rush out to the local bar, there are a few things below that you should think about before you make your choice about going out to drink some alcohol.

Research has proven that even small amounts of alcohol with increase muscular endurance and the output of strength, although these types of benefits are very short lived. After 20 minutes or so, the problems will begin to surface. All of the negative side effects associated with alcohol will easily outweigh any possible benefits that it can have. No matter how you look at it, alcohol is a poison that can really harm your body if you aren’t careful.

The negative side of alcohol can reduce your strength, endurance, aerobic capability, recovery time, ability to metabolize fat, and even your muscle growth as well. Alcohol will also have an effect on your nervous system and brain. If you use it long term, you can cause severe deterioration of your central nervous system. Even with short term use, nerve muscle interaction can be reduced which will result in a loss of strength.

Once alcohol reaches the blood cells, it can and probably will damage them. With alcohol users, inflammation of the muscle cells is a very common thing. Over periods of time, some of these cells that have been damaged can die which will result in less functional muscle contractions. Drinking alcohol will also leave you with more soreness of your muscles after you exercise, which means that it will take you a lot longer to recuperate.

Alcohol will also have many different effects on your heart and circulatory system as well. When you drink any type of alcohol, you may begin to see a reduction in your endurance capabilities. Anytime you drink, your heat loss will increase, due to the alcohol simulating your blood vessels to dilate. The loss in heat can cause your muscles to become quite cold, therefore become slower and weaker during your muscle contractions.

Drinking alcohol can also lead to digestive and nutrition problems as well. Alcohol cause a release of insulin that will increase the metabolism of glycogen, which spares fat and makes the loss of fat very hard. Due to alcohol interfering with the absorption of several key nutrients, you can also become anemic and deficient with B type vitamins.

Because your liver is the organ that detoxifies alcohol, the more you drink, the harder your liver has to work. The extra stress alcohol places on your liver can cause serious damage and even destroy some of your liver cells.

Since alcohol is diuretic, drinking large amounts can put a lot of stress on your kidneys as well. During diuretic action, the hormones are secreted. This can lead to heightened water retention and no one who exercises will want this to happen.

If you must drink alcohol, you should do it in moderation and never drink before you exercise, as this will impair your balance, coordination, and also your judgement. Think about your health and how you exercise – and you may begin to look at things from a whole new prospective.

4 Easy Ways To Relief Headache

Having headache is annoying and sometimes it is difficult for us to avoid. Mostly when we are under pressure, headache appeared automatically. If it gets worse, we might faint due to the pain we felt.

A headache is a condition of mild to severe pain in the head. It can also attack at our upper back or neck. There are different types of headache, but most of the time headache brought on by stress, too long in front of computer, noise and others.

One of the main causes of headache is tension in the muscles of the neck, scalp and jaw. We usually deal with it by taking some sleep or consume over-the counter aspirin to release our pain. However, can we do this at any place?

Obviously, we cannot sleep at the office or at the mall. In addition, we might run of aspirin when headache strike us.

Do not worry! The easiest way to handle headache and we can do it everywhere is through massage. Massage is the practice of applying pressure or vibration to the soft tissues of the body, to heal injury, relieve psychological stress, manage pain, improve circulation and relieve tension.

When we suffer from headache, we can help ourselves with self-massage. Simple and everybody can do it, either at work or home.

Here are four easy ways in massage to heal our headache.

1. Eyes Area Massage — Close your eyes. Place your middle fingers to your eyes that are above cheekbones. Massage that area gently but firmly in circular motion for 1 minute,

2. Eyes to Nose Massage – Using thumb, go along the underside of eyebrows (along the bone on top of eye socket). Feel where this bone meets the bridge of your nose and eyes and find a point where there is a small indentation. Very gentle pressure, press your thumbs into the points. You can do it four times by holding and press that area for 10 seconds in each press.

3. Neck Massage — Massage a point where you can feel it by moving the middle fingers of your hands to the back of your head and feel the base of your skull. Specially, at the tops of your neck that meets the base of your skull. Massage for a minutes using finger tips gentle in circular movement.

4. Scalp Massage – Let your palms of your hands massage your scalp on the top of your skull for a minute gently.

Once you have done all those massages, start taking a deep breath. Lift your shoulders towards your ears for five to 10 seconds to relief remaining pain, and then let them drop back down into their natural position.

You are going to feel better when you can do that for a couple of times. Your massage will relief your headache and your head will feel less weighty.

A premature separation of a normally implanted placenta from the uterine wall, usually occuring in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Etiology and Incidence

Etiology is unknown but has been linked to hypertension, cocaine use, smoking and blunt force trauma to abdomen. Abruptio placentae occurs in 0.4% to 3.5% of all deliveries and accounts for 15% of all perinatal deaths. About one third of infants born to women with abruptio placentae die from either prematurity or intrauterine hypoxia. There is a 1% maternal mortality rate.

Pathophysiology

The placentae releases from th e wall of the uterus, and retroplacental bleeding occurs. The degree of release may vary from a few milimeters to complete detachment. Blood can accumulate under the placenta (concealed hemorhage) or can be passed out the cervix (external hemorhage).

Risk Factors

Hypetension, cocaine use, cigarette use (15% to 25% of cases linked to smoking), blunt force abdominal trauma (auto accident and maternal battering), previous separation of placenta (risk of recurrence 4%; risk after two separations rises to 25%), multiple fetuses, premature rupture of membranes for more than 24 hours.

Clinical manifestations

Signs and symptoms vary with degree of separation and hemorrhage. Severe cases involve profuse vaginal bleeding, maternal shock (hypotension, dizziness, rapid pulse, dyspnea and pallor); sudden, severe pain; tender, tightly contracted uterus; and fetal distress or fetal death.

Complications

Complications include hypofibrinogenemia with disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), uteroplacental apoplexy (couvelaire uterus), and renal failure. Preexisting preeclampsia compounds complications.

Diagnostic tests

History and physical examination

Gargling or mouthwash to help clean up food debris in the mouth, and the flow of liquid used to clean difficult areas such as the gap-tooth gap. Use of gargle materials increase the effectiveness of cleaning teeth than brushing and flossing. However, the gargle materials can not replace the use of floss, brush and toothpaste.

Type of gargle materials

There are 2 types of gargle materials:

1. Ordinary gargle materials that refresh breath odor.
2. Therapeutic gargle materials:
* Provide protection to the infection
* Treatment of diseases of the mouth

Several things need to be addressed

Use of gargle materials can cause:

* Changes color self-colored filling, such as the composite patch.
* Feeling of burning mouth.
* Disturbance of sensation.
* Dry mouth.

It is a condition in which red blood cells that carry oxygen due to the body tissues decreases. This function is carried out by a protein called hemoglobin. Anemia usually means inadequate of hemoglobin .Normal level of Haemoglobin is between 11.5 to 16.5g/dL for women and 12.5 for men to 18.5g/dL.

Causes of anemia

1. Blood loss (either acute or chronic)
* Acute blood loss can be seen during the car accident or after surgery. Blood loss of more than 500ml of blood is usually required fiber.
* Chronic blood loss usually occurs during excessive menstruation, worm infestation and other conditions.

2. The formation of red blood cells that is not enough from bone marrow .

This may be caused by:

* Lack of important factors such as iron, vitamin B12, folate, and erythropoietin.

- Expansion of a sudden for the young, resulting in increased iron requirements where they exceed the level of iron absorption.

- menstrual cycle in women with a loss estimated 30mg of iron each month cause iron deficiency.

* Toxic factors: inflammatory disease, liver and kidney failure, drugs.
* Lack of hormones: low thyroid hormone levels.
* Attacks the bone marrow: blood cancer, bone marrow disease.
* Disorders of red blood cell formation: conditions such as thalassemia.
2. The destruction of red blood cells over

May occur in some infections, or taking any medication.

Common type of anemia are:

* Anemia due to iron deficiency.
* Thalassemia

Signs and symptoms
Many teenagers suffer from anemia and do not know why.
Symptoms include:

* Nausea all the time
* Dizziness
* Shortness of breath when performing physical atktiviti
* Skin pale
* Rapid heart rate
* Poor memory
* Less weight

Complications of anemia

If anemia is severe it can cause:

* The failure of the heart in which heart function become weak and inadequate.
* Problems during pregnancy such as premature birth and fetal growth retardation when they are in content.

Treatment of anemia

Hemoglobin examination to determine whether you have anemia or can not be done in a clinic near you.

Treatment of anemia depends on the type of anemia encountered.

* If it is caused by medical problems such as thalassemia, Leukaemia, special treatment is needed.

Brushing is the oral care practices that should be done for good hygiene. Brushing using fluoridated toothpaste each day can prevent tooth decay. Use fluoridated toothpaste is one of the factors that contribute to the reduction of tooth decay around the world.

Fluoride is a natural mineral that strengthens the outer layer of the teeth and help prevent tooth decay. However, excessive use of fluoride can cause fluorosis of enamel defects cortex teeth.

Effect of Excess Fluoride Intake

Excessive fluoride intake by children often occurs when they swallow fluoridated toothpaste when brushing. Some children like the taste of flavored toothpaste. This causes them to swallow the toothpaste.

In other circumstances, some children are given additional excessive fluoride. There will also be given additional fluoride while the water supply already contains adequate fluoride.

Excessive intake of fluoride during tooth formation can lead to tooth defects. As a result, outer layer of the tooth (enamel) is white and smooth the holes small brown. Color is clearly visible on the surface of front teeth.

Front teeth is very important to smile and attractive appearance. Of course the tooth defects can affect the skills themselves.

Treatment In  Enamel Defects

Fluorosis enamel can be treated. With cosmetic dental treatment, the appearance of the teeth involved can be repaired. Pediatric Dentistry specialist will tell you about treatments that can be done if your child has a severe enamel fluorosis.

The Right Way To Use fluoridated toothpaste

Use fluoridated toothpaste is important to ensure your child’s good dental health

BUT

* Make sure the toothpaste is not used much. For children aged 6 years and below, brushing teeth should be assisted by parents and toothpaste used only as much as pea beans.
* Teach your child not to swallow toothpaste instead immediately spit after brushing.
* As for children under age 2 years, toothpaste may not be used.

Are You A Good Candidate For Plastic Surgery?

Every year, millions of people across the globe get plastic surgery. Some do it for cosmetic improvement, others do it to correct a deformity. But before you consider surgery, it’s important to speak with your doctor to determine whether not you are a good candidate. Here are a few things to consider:

Can You Afford Plastic Surgery?
Plastic surgery isn’t cheap. For example, cheek implants can cost several thousand dollars. More complicated procedures, like revision rhinoplasty, can set you back more than twenty thousand. In addition to the surgical costs, you also need to take into account the time you will need to take off from work. Will you be able to afford to do all this?

Why Are You Getting Plastic Surgery?
Everyone has different reasons, but they all boil down to two primary motives; cosmetic enhancement or medical necessity. If your nose was broken, you very well might need rhinoplasty to restore functionality of it. Or if you have breathing problems, it may be necessary (check a rhinoplasty forum to learn more). But something like cheek implants is not a medical necessity, unless your cheekbones were broken and deformed.

Are You In Mental Shape For Plastic Surgery?
If you are suffering from depression or some other mental problems, it’s probably not a good idea to get plastic surgery. Check any rhinoplasty forum or bulletin board, and you will see a number of individuals seeking a nose job because they believe it will fill a void in their life. Remember, you will be the same person after surgery that you were before it, so you need to have realistic expectations. Surgery is not going to change your life or solve your problems.

Have You Considered Plastic Surgery Alternatives?
For some people, plastic surgery isn’t necessary to fix their problem. For example, if you are suffering from wrinkles, there are a number of anti-wrinkle creams on the market which may be able to help. Of course, if you have severe wrinkles or saggy skin, then creams and serums are not the solution. But if your wrinkles are subtle, you should consider anti-wrinkle treatments before getting a face lift or Botox.
